Mountain Resort · Phase II
SKOGUR Mountain Resort Phase II is a concept masterplan for a contemporary residential development located in the Ukrainian Carpathian Mountains. The project consists of 32 architecturally unified mountain houses designed to integrate seamlessly into the surrounding alpine landscape while providing a distinctive identity for the entire development.
The architectural concept combines traditional regional materials with contemporary Scandinavian-inspired forms. Natural timber, dark standing-seam metal roofing, stone accents, and expansive glazing create a restrained material palette that responds to the character of the Carpathian environment.

The houses were conceived as a cohesive architectural family rather than individual buildings. Consistent proportions, material language, and detailing establish a recognizable identity throughout the development while allowing each home to maintain its relationship with the surrounding landscape.

Large panoramic windows, generous terraces, and carefully oriented living spaces maximize mountain views and strengthen the connection between interior and exterior environments. The steep roof geometry responds both to the regional architectural tradition and the climatic conditions of the mountain setting.

Beyond the architectural language, the project focuses on creating a premium hospitality environment where architecture, landscape, and nature become a unified experience.
